Zotrin Ingredients For Women
Here are the ingredents specific to Zotrin for
women
Proprietary Blend for Women:
Rosemary leaf (twig), Forsythia (fruit), Sage (leaf) Black cohosh
(root), Chasteberry (fruit), Shisandra (herb), Chlorella, St.
John's Wort (herb) Other Ingredients: rice flour.
Rosemary leaf - Rosemary is
a traditional meat preservative, and is an essential ingredient
in many meat dishes, soups, and breads. One of its main benefits
is aiding digesting and relieving cramps. It helps relax muscles
includes stomach muscles of the digestive tract and uterus, which
is why its sometimes used to help menstrual cramps. Large amounts
of rosemary can cause cramping, and its not recommended to use
if you are pregnant.
Forsythia - is a flower with
anti-bacterial and anti-fungal abilities.
Black Cohosh - is a herb and
is sold as a dietary supplement. It's also used for hot flashes
and other menopause symptoms.
Chasteberry - is often used
to alleviate PMS symptoms, and as well as menstrual irregularities.
Chasteberry helps to normalize the ratio of progesterone to estrogen,
thus providing relief from the PMS symptoms..
St. John's Wort - is a herb that's been used
for hundreds of years, mainly to treat depression. However, St.
John's Wort is know to interact with certain drugs, and also reduces
the effectiveness of drugs and medication. So, if your taking
any type of medication, think twice before using Zotrin, and it
would be a good idea to get some advice from your doctor.

Zotrin Ingredients For Men
Proprietary Blend for Men:
Schizonepeta (spica) SE Yucca (plant) Passion flower (aerial parts)
Panax ginseng (root) SE Maca (root) SE St. John's wort (herb)
SE L-leucine L-glutamine NADH Other Ingredients: rice flour.
Schizonepeta - helps relieve
colds, used to treat measles, influenza, anti-inflammatory, and
also helps to treat skin rashes.
Passion flower - has mild sedative
and anxiety reliefing effects. Also, passion flower seems to have
an antispasmodic effect on smooth muscles including digestive
system, helping digestion. Studies have found it to be rich in
flavnoids.
Panax ginseng - Ginseng has
been used for over 2000 years in China for its effects on "balancing
out different systems" in your body. Some benefits of panax
ginseng include improving immune system, helps maintain adrenal
function, stablizes blood sugar, increases stress tolerance, reduced
mental stress and fatigue, lowers risk of cancer, and treating
male impotence.
Maca root - contains alot of
amino acids, complex carbs, vitamines, and minerals such as calcium
zinc, magnesium, and iron. Maca has been used as an aphrodisiac
by Peruvians for both men and women. It helps increase energy,
vitality, and endurance. It also helps improve fertility, and
increasing male sperm count and mobility. Some studies have found
Maca to cause a 180% increase in sex drive and a 200% increase
in sperm count. Hence Maca has been used to treat impotence, and
erectile difficulties.
L-glutamine - read
about L-glutamine here.
Essentially, Zotrin (Zotril) is a bunch of herbs
thrown together, and for the Zotrin for Women and Zotrin for Men
versions, they each contain different herbs and some are an aphrodisiac
with sexual enhancing effects.
I can't put a worth on how effective Zotrin
really is at weight loss, but you should at least
get a slight boost in sex drive if nothing else. ;-)
And if you've used Zotrin, please let me know how
it worked for you!
