Rules and Code of Conduct
The following guidelines are
created to ensure a friendly and creative exchange
of information between all members, old and new.
1) You agree not to post any
messages that are false, defamatory, rude,
disrespectful, harmful, abusive, hateful, racist,
prejudiced, sexist, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening,
invasive of another user’s privacy, or in any
way violates any law.
2) Promotion / Advertising
In Any Way is Prohibited, including but not limited to:
- You agree not to
post any type of advertising in any form.
- You agree not to post any type of link to
another website that sells or promotes supplements,
fat burners, and nutritional products in any way
or form.
- You agree not to
post any links to other bodybuilding, fitness, weight loss sitess.
- Links are not allowed in signitures.
3) Zero Tolerance for
Flaming – posting any type of hostile,
rude, or threatening language toward another user
is strictly prohibited. All Flames will be deleted,
and the flamer will receive warning from our staff.
Should the warned user continue to flame other members,
they will be BANNED.
4) Pornographic Content
is Prohibited – BB4U is a all age friendly
chat forum, therefore, all discussions involving explicit
sexual content is not allowed. Link to adult content
is also not allowed. Remember, this is a bodybuilding
chat board, not a X-rated chat board.
5) You agree not to post any
copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned
by you, by BB4U, or you have been given permission
by the owner to post such material.
6) Thread hi-jacking
is not allowed – all members must respect
the rights of other members to post questions, comments,
and the free flow of information. You agree to stay
ON TOPIC in respect of the originator of the thread.
Keep irrelevant subjects off the thread. For the General
Chat Section, see rule #9 below.
7) Respect for all
Staff and Members – You will not post
any defamatory, slandering, obscene, or objectionable
messages toward any member of moderator. Any personal
attacks, rude remarks, or threats will not be tolerated.
8) Asking for ‘sources”
to any illegal substance is strictly prohibited
9) General Chat section: despite the name says “General” that does
not give members the authority to go off topic on
purpose, or post anything that just “pops”
into your mind. You must respect the rules of the
forums. Should a thread veer off topic for whatever
reason, we will give benefit of the doubt to members
and let the thread continue. However, if the originator
of the thread complains, then we will either set the
thread back on topic, or just lock it.
10) Thread Locking - should a mod find any of the rules are violated,
they have full authority to lock and/or delete any
thread as they see fit. Do not whine and complain
about a thread being locked or deleted, and DO NOT
make personal attacks on a moderator. If
a thread is locked, then it was locked for a reason. If you're not happy with mods locking threads
to keep a well mannered forum operating smoothly and
friendly, you have the option of posting else where
on the millions of other boards on the net.
11) Teen Section - while the teen section is set up for teens to discuss
bodybuilding related issues, we do not condone the
discussion of pro hormones, steroids and the like.
These are neither issues that teens should be concerned
about, nor contemplating of their use; therefore,
it is up to our mods/admins discretion to delete or
remove any thread that contains mentions and discussions
of above said substances.
12) Member Name Changes - we do NOT allow member name changes on the forums.
Disclaimer: all members use any and all bodybuilding related supplements,
pro hormones, anabolics at their own risk. BodybuildingForYou.com
will be in NO WAY responsible for any and all damages
caused by such use.
We have no tolerance
for rude, immature, and inconsiderate individuals
who place their own needs and demands infront of everyone
else.
BB4U reserves the right to
modify and make changes to this Acceptable User Policy
as we see fit.
Enforcement
Three strikes and
you’re out – should you violate
the TOS as outlined above repeatedly, you will be
banned. Period.
Grounds for immediate
Banning
1. Drop-in spamming – users who register for the sole purpose of
spamming and advertising will be immediately banned.
2. Threats – any member who makes threads toward another
member will be immediately banned. Members who receive
any threats should immediately send a notice to a
mod with the original copy of the threat made.
