Inside Dymetadrine Xtreme - A Review Of The
Ingredients
Let's take a look at the ingredients. Here are
the supplement facts:
Amount Per Capsule:
Ephedra Extract
(standardized for 20 mg ephedra alkaloids) 300 g
L-Phenylalanine 150 mg
L-Tyrosine 150 mg
Caffeine 100 mg
Willow Bark Extract 50 mg
Other ingredients: Magnesium Stearate, silica, gelatin.
Doesn't look that special huh? Looks like another
fat burner based on the good ol' ECA stack. You'll get a little
energy boost from the ephedrine. Let's forget about ECA stack
here, I've talked enough about it in other articles. Instead,
let's take a look at some of the other key ingredients, which
are important precursors to epinephrine:
L-phenylalanine - is a building
block for the various proteins that are produced in the body.
L-phenylalanine can be converted to L-tyrosine and subsequently
to L-dopa, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. It can also convert
(through a separate pathway) to phenylethylamine, a substance
that occurs naturally in the brain and can elevate mood.
L-tyrosine - is a another nonessential
amino acid (protein building block) that the body synthesizes
from phenylalanine. It's the precursor of several neurotransmitters,
including L-dopa, dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine. Tyrosine
can help relief depression, and ease the effects of stress. Tyrosine
is also important to the structure of almost all proteins in the
body.
With this said, now you can see how Dymetadrine
Xtreme works to boost epinephrine productions and give you the
energy boost during workout. Once Dymetadrine does its job, let
take a quick look how epinephrine works to boost your energy.
Among the many different effects epinephrine
has on your body, one I found particularly interesting: Epinephrine
stimulates reactions in skeletal muscles. It binds to beta-adrenergic
receptors of skeletal muscle. This will stimulate adenylate cyclase
to produce cAMP. This, in turn, activates glycogen phosphorylase
and inactivates 6-phosphate for glycolysis. The stressful demands
imposed upon the body during the fight or flight response requires
ATP. This process of glycolysis generates the ATP.
Why I find this interesting? Simply because
ATP is the fuel that powers your muscle contractions. This is
part of the reason why Creatine is so important. You can learn
more about ATP in this Creatine
Monohydrate article. Is it all coming together for you now?
Do you now see how L-phenylalanine and L-tyrosine in Dymetadrine
Xtreme help stimulate epinephrine, which in turn generates ATP?
Of course there's a lot more involved than what's listed here,
but I'm no scientist. :)
AST Dymetadrine Xtreme does hold up to its claims,
and many users have reported very positive results
from using Dymetadrine Xtreme.
