The herbal select brand is a sunflower/safflower blend. I wan't sure if just safflower was better but I bought some anyways. Now i am using CLA by jarrow formulas

I just looked and my label has the warning to keep away from children, but that's it. GNC Optibolic CLA.

I read on one of these links that CLA has side effects. Stomach upset or diarrhea. Has anyone experienced that?

Generally if you take it without food, you'll experience stomach upsets/cramping. However if you take it with food, you should be fine. The best way to find out is to start off with lower dosages..maybe 4gms a day and work your way up if you don't get the upsets :wink:

you have to take it along with your food? how many grams eventually?

Yes, take it with (or right after) your meals. Depends on what may give you the better results.. most people stick to about 6gms/day, some bump it to 9-10gms a day.

Umm..ok..back to the other post ..too many things goin on..hard to keep track! :wink:

About the strength training post, take your time, meanwhile m gonna stick with what I did before.

I e-mailed the Doctor that "discovered" CLA (I think) to ask him why pregnant & lactating women shouldn't take it and this is the response I received:
CLA has not been tested in pregnant women and one should be extra cautious in this regard. CLA may reduce milk fat content so that is why it is not advised during lacation.

What kind of results has anyone seen from CLA? Everyone on this board says how great itiis, but I haven't heard any specifics. Does it increase losses?

it worked for me with max-ot cardio and proper diet. I seem to lose abdominal fat.

I lost 4 pounds of fat in a month and a half.

Is it ok just to take all 6 capsules at once? It doesn't bother my stomach, but am I losing benefits?

I would take it 2 at a time after meals. That should help with metabolizing the food.

I am thinking of buying some cla supplements but what is the most effective brand. I can't afford anything real expensive. I know GNC has some for about 25 bucks, but i ahve heard a few negative htings about gnc products. So please let me know what ya'll think. thank you!

OK SO IN ALL DOES CLA ACTUALLY CAUSE INCREAE MUSCLE GRWOTH!!! cos if it does then its reduces fat HWILE incresing muscle ! thats pretty good stuff

is CLA very [powerful tho? do u see nice gains while losing lotsa fat ? or iss it a very small differnce?
