Can someone advise me on Crystal Light?
I heave heard about how it contains aspartame that may lead to store fat and is counterproductive for losing weight. Does anyone have factual evidence on this? My diet is spot on and but I drink crystal light, I have a hard time drinking my required daily amount of water so I use Crystal Light as a means of increasing water cnsumption, what do you guys think? |

Let me answer this question with some honesty... If drinking CL keeps you from drinking soda, drink it. I drank it in Iraq pretty consistently and didn't die and lost fat
I have clients that WILL NOT DRINK WATER without it and they don't have any problems. With that being said, I'm not going to get into an aspartame debate as I've seen both sides of the research and am not ashamed to admit I have no fkn idea about what it does. Typically, ppl are doing a lot more damaging sht than consuming that stuff. |

I get tired of the same ole dame ole, so occasionally I put a very small amount in my gallon container of water. But I'm talkin if it calls for 4 teaspoons, I might add in 1/4 of one single teaspoon....just enough for some flavor....that or ice-tea mix.
It's sort of weird though carrying around a gallon container thats looks like it's filled with piss...or if you use the tea mix, looks like alcohol, maybe some Jack. |

I know quite a few competitve BBers who live on crystal lite during their precontest diets so it can't be too bad. I drink it and its never slowed me down.
