Saturday and Sunday are my days when I consume less calories. So far today I ate:
Oat with banana and milk (Pre Workout)
Cabbage with pork stake (lean meat) (Post W)
Potatoes & Mushrooms with stake
Cabbage with stake
Vegetables with chicken

I also ate a banana with some low-fat yogurt, some peanuts, an apple, and watermelon as snacks.

One question: is cabbage OK? I'm loving it and I know it's low in calories.

cabbage is more than ok, it is actually one of the most healthy vegetables you can eat...especially red cabbage. Its a good source of fiber as well as vitamin c and has a myriad of other health benefits. Some even say it helps with building muscle. I'm an agriculture major and cabbage is at its peak right now in the fall so eat up!

They are OK. I noticed yesterday that my energy level is high, like when I started some months ago. Today I did cardio for 30 mins on an empty stomach. It felt good, only it weakened me, so I got to eat to recover. I ate so far oat with banana and milk and some peanuts.
I have a question regarding deadlifts. My left hand goes numb after the deadlifts. This is the hand that is facing away on my grip. Did it ever happen to you?

Yes, from time to time I had numb fingers....it's pinched nerves or inflamation in some areas where the nerves are.....rest and see what happens

OK thanks. I weighted myself today again, and I am back to 73, those two kilos from last week are off again, and I ate more than before these days. I'm glad that the difference is noticeable, lots of people told me that I have lost weight. I'll just have to keep it up

Is it OK if I eat bread once in a while? I ate two slices today. I also ate an ice-cream today after about 3 months since I last ate one . I hope it won't have a very big effect on my body.

What do you think, should I change my routine to 4-6 reps or should I remain with the 10-12 range for another month or two?

I took a break from the gym for a week but I did HIIT every day. Now I am 72kg which means that I have lost another kg. I ate a pretty big breakfast today, and I will keep it up. Yesterday I felt dizzy and I fell, almost like a faint, just that I couldn't feel any strength in my legs or arms, and they were shaking. It usually happens when I stand up suddenly, but yesterday it was the worse. I was lucky that I was at home, but I still banged my head pretty bad.

hmmm, I think your blood pressure is low or electrolites are meesed up ....have it checked. If you fainted and you are light headed what it means to me is that you doing so much cardio that basically went passed the good point of doing cardio. I used to get this when I was a kid myself and it was from not eating and just playing all day.

Bread is good and I wouldn't advise for you to do 4-6 reps. Your body cannot take it at this time. Stick with 10-12 reps. If you feel light headed again ease out on the cardio or eat more to get those electrolites back in normal range. I also think that you need to replenish your electrolites from all that cardio you doing with some specific drinks that are meant to do that

Thanks for all the info. Right now I'm at the point where I need to tone up, as I haven't got so much fat left. Unfortunately I have also lost muscle. I ate more since that happened and luckily I don't feel so dizzy any more. I started going to the gym again, and to my surprise I was able to do dips pretty easily, I used to struggle with them before. I will continue with the 10-12 range then

I had 70kgs last week, this week I'm back at 72, even if I didn't eat too much. Strange. Anyhow, I have increased the weight in my squats and deadlifts.

Yeah, and I am pretty happy. That two kilograms that I put back on concerned me, because there is no way that I've consumed that much calories. Maybe it was water, or something. Also the waist measuring went up a centimeter. I'm paranoid about this, I obsess way too much about any slight changes. LOL.

It seems that I have hit a plateau. I can't seem to shed that last extra fat from my belly and chest. It isn't much but it's really bothering me. Overall I am glad about the changes: my body is looking as it should look, it is somewhat defined, and I can fit in all my older clothes :P.
I tried and I'm still using the 5 days carbs, 2 days less carbs method. My diet has been very strict, no carbs or fruits in the evening, mainly clean food. I ate chocolate very rarely and very little, about 10 grams, and that was before the work-out.
This is what I ate today:
Oat with milk & banana
Workout (chest/shoulders/triceps)
Brown rice with meat
Low fat yogurt with banana (snack)
Beans with soy and meat
Apple (snack)
Cabbage with meat
Cardio
Cabbage with tuna

I hope that I will eventually get rid of this annoying extra fat

Give it some time, as you get to the end it gets harder but keep pressing and just follow your routine.

I am but this is starting to mess with my mind. I got the constant fear that I will gain fat if I eat something, feelings of guilt if I eat a "forbidden" food. I can't convince myself that eating something else besides clean food isn't gonna make me 10 kilograms fatter. Strange.

Saturday and Sunday were days with extra food
This was Saturday
Oat with milk and banana 350kcal
Peanut butter with a slice of bread and banana 400kcal
Cabbage with meat and a slice of bread 350kcal
2 Eggs with a slice of bread 400kcal
Mashed potatoes, mushrooms, meat 600-700 kcal
Chestnuts 200kcal

About 2000-2200 kcal if I calculated correctly.

I will reduce the calories and the carbs intake starting tomorrow. I will also do cardio at least 5 days per week, gym 4 days, HIIT 2 days. I hope that this combined with the zig-zag eating will help me get read of the extra fat and won't make me gain extra fat :P

I haven't weighted and measure myself since the last post, but I guess I've lost some more weight. I still have some little amount of fat on my belly right bellow the belly button, but I guess it will go as well.
