Default New To Forum Couple Weightloss Questions.

Let me start off by saying as of January I was 292lbs WOW!
I thought something wrong was up so I went to the doctor and sure enough I have hypothyroidism. Lovely. Now note 2 1/2 years prior i was 215 5'9 played football age 16
Started a Synthroid on March16th and weighed 279
Now I'm 18 and 2 1/2 Months Into a Thyroid Pill ( Synthroid 100mcg)
And My Current weight as of today was 241

Now Since I started taking a thyroid pill, My diet and exercise has been fantastic. If needed I'll post a mock of what I've been eating. And My exercise has been lifting weights monday wed friday and cardio ( running, walking, biking) tuesday thursday and saturday.

Am I doing too much?
Am I loosing too much too fast?

Please help.

It seems I loose 1-2lbs every 4 days or so.

Are you on a cutting diet, or just eating better?

I think you should move your cardio to AFTER your workout, not on separate days. Use those days off as just that, days off. Let your body rest!

Your weight loss will most likely slow down. People that are heavier tend to lose a lot of weight real fast when they start eating right and exercising, but it doesn't go like that forever.

I'm curious what your lifting routine looks like. What is your final goal? Strength or weight loss or both?

Swap your biceps and triceps. Give your legs there own day. Stretching is good. Make sure that you warm up a little before stretching. Not a good idea to stretch a cold muscle... easier to tear, so I've heard.
