drop the gatorade will cut 51100 calories per year. Which is about 16 pounds. I remember i was over weight at your age too. Lost it all about 19, cut out all soda still drink a little gatorade once in a while. (go gators) LOL

Do that and you can lose 16 pounds in a year.

Its not hard to do. Tell you parents that your life is at stake, and if they love you, they will take you shopping and let you buy healthier food. Tell them you don't want heart disease, or diabetes. If that doesn't do it then get out of your house as soon as possible, because your parents dont care about you.

SEriously dude, what parents tell their kid that they cannot buy healthier groceries. Thats ridiculous.

You are right, you do need to watch those carbs, and stop eating meals like Mac&Cheese all together. That is an absolutely horrible meal idea. I am pretty sure those arent whole wheat noodles either. Point is, not good, don't eat that.

You probably need to eat more than you are, especially since u are weight lifting, you can eat more and still be healthier, its not that tasty, or that fun, but possible, and necessary for a good life. You can beat this, just gotta do it. It wont happen on accident.

Live purposefully.

if ur 270 pounds i dont for a second believe u that u only eat those 3 meals a day...theres gotta be snacks like doritos or candy or w.e in there at some point...glad to see u stopped drinking carbonated drinks, 8 pounds is good...drink alot of water...and only check the scale once a month

if u want to lose weight, post up a diet plan for each day of the week...like different meals every day and have all 7 days planned out and STICK TO IT.. u wont accomplish much without a game plan..get organised and we can critique ur meal plan and be specific, dont just say a bagel with cheese...is it white? whole wheat? flax?...low fat cheese? u get my point...it will take u some time but u WILL accomplish your goal that way...going in blindly with no game plan is just asking to fail again. take the time to make that meal plan...research different foods. might take a few hours but if ur serious about getting healthier you will spend WEEKS researching and changing the way you live
