apparently up to 3.5oz in ohio.
That's not true about NY. I haven't smoked chron in a while though, but I haven't heard of that. I know the first hospital in the country to have medical marijuana to smoke was on Long Island though at North Shore LIJ.

you cannot be arrested for a civil offense. Fine is relative, though beleive that colorado's is like 60$. You cannot be given community service for a civil offense.

A lot of people make money off of keeping this stuff illegal, and if I know anything about the US its that money always trumps “the right thing to do”

IMHO
there are plenty of criminals out there, most of whom are rarely caught, law enforcement resources could be put to good use, instead of wasted on what are essentially moral issues.

part of the reason that drug related crimes make up the bulk of prison population is because people on drugs tend to make mistakes and get caught easier. Many criminals and crimes go unpunished because of resources wasted on "easy" criminals (who would not be either criminals or at least commiting petty crimes if drugs were affordable and legal (not to mention taxed))...... you dont see people mugging people to get money for liquor (well sure it happens, but its a vast minority as compared to the poor alcoholic public)

there is some correlation, though the exact link is less clear than with other drugs like alcohol (which upregulates aromatase and thus estrogen)

overeating is an aspect, though not the primary one. More likely its due to modulation of estrogen and prolactin levels/receptors.
