i have just recently started taking pure ephedrine in the last week and am experiencing huge energy increases.my workout intensity has doubled which makes me feel gr8 about my workouts!!! heres the but, i have read so much gud and bad about this fat burner and cant help worrying about the effect it cud b having on my body.im 5.11 90 kilos and in fairly gud shape my goal is 2get ripped!!! i wud greatly appreciate any serious bodybuilders opinions tx

No I don't think so. It's derived from a plant I think, whereas meth is "cooked" from some real nasty stuff - purely synthetic.

Ephedrine can be bad for you, as can anything that you abuse. The real secret to getting ripped? The kitchen. Eat clean, get plenty of protein in a caloric-deficit and you will get ripped.

WHAT IS EPHEDRINE?


Ephedrine alkaloids are amphetamine-like compounds used in OTC and prescription drugs with potentially lethal stimulant effects on the central nervous system and heart. The FDA has received more than 800 reports of adverse effects associated with use of products containing ephedrine alkaloid since 1994. These serious adverse effects, include hypertension (elevated blood pressure), palpitations (rapid heart rate), neurophathy (nerve damage), myopathy (muscle injury), psychosis, stroke, memory loss, heart rate irregularities, insomnia, nervousness, tremors, seizures, heart attacks, and death. The agency has proposed to prohibit the marketing of dietary supplements containing 8 milligrams or more of ephedrine alkaloids per serving.






Ephedrine is a common central nervous system stimulant present in the herb Ephedra sinica. It is sold in herbal supplements, in diet aids, and as a pure chemical. It is generally found in capsule or tablet form and is usually taken orally. The chart below shows oral dosages for ephedrine in milligrams (mg).

3.6: What is ECA?
A: ECA is an abbreviation for a combination of Ephedrine, Caffeine and Aspirin. This combination has been shown in study after study to be an effective fat loss aid. Caffeine pills are readily available as "No-Doz"or "Vivarin". Again generic equivalents are generally available.
