SpanishLady2069 has a spectacular aura about
Default Weight Loss using Expedrine....

Hello, I'm new to this website so any helpful information that you veterans can provide me with would be greatly appreciated. I'm 37 year old lady and I need to lose at least 35 pounds within the next 3 months. Is this realistic? I'm very disciplined when it comes to working out, but I really have problems sticking with eating every 3 hours. I usually eat 2x a day, which I know is not enough. I usually try to make my meals low carb, high protein and low fat, but it's the healthy snacks in between meals that I'm having trouble with. I don't do those nasty protein bars or shakes, so please don't suggest those if at all possible. Also, does anyone know if Expedrine really work?

Thanks guys!

I don't think 35lbs in 3 months is very realistic...or healthy. Probably more like 25 lbs, if done correctly.

Generally, I see people drop a bunch of weight in the beginning, but after the first few weeks, their body will slow down on the weight loss process....averaging about 2lbs/week in weight loss.
(This is not from personal experience because I've never had 35 lbs to lose, so take my info for what it's worth).

Why don't you try snacking on things like fruit, yogurt, beef jerky, almonds, vegetables (like carrots or celery or broccoli), you can even snack on rolled cold cuts (I do that alot...turkey, chicken). I tend to also snack on dry cereal...like lowfat granola, or bran flakes. Those are just some suggestions on things that I'd snack on. Pick things you like though...otherwise, you'll probably start craving things that probably aren't so healthy.
But...like you said, two meals is not enough. Make sure you're eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but also make sure that you're eating some small meals in between. You want to keep your body fueled throughout the day...this way your metabolism will not be moving at a snail's pace.

Timing your meals/snacks and your workouts may also help you out. I'm not sure what your schedule is, and when you eat what, or when you workout...but that can also aid in the weight loss process.

**EDIT**
Oh, I have no experience with Expedrine. Sorry.

Hi Jenny:

Hey I'll take 25 lbs in 3 months any day!!! LOL! Thank you so much for your helpful tips. I usually skip dinner, because I'm so tired when I get home from work I have no energy to cook, which is why I also work out first thing in the morning. I usually do 45 minutes of cardio and 40 minutes weights. I have seen great results in the past doing this, but I fell off the wagon! What do you do to stay motivated, that's another hurdle I've yet to overcome. Thanks again for your help!

I know all to well about being pooped by the time you get home from work.
Try and make something light and easy for dinner...chicken breast, some veggies.
If you're trying to lose weight, try and wean yourself off the carbs as the day goes on.
I also workout first thing in the morning...well, I run in the morning before work, then I usually do my weight training after work. I found it more beneficial to split my cardio and weights up.

Motivation...hmmm, well, I guess it's different for everyone. But for me, it's not that hard to stay motivated. I just generally like the way I feel when I work out, so that is usually motivation enough. And, maybe this is sad to admit, but I also think that vanity plays a part in my motivation. I just feel more comfortable with myself knowing that underneath my clothes, there's a pretty rockin body goin on...bwahahaha...ok, that part was a joke.
But for real, the vanity is a factor. I'd just like to look as good as I can. And if that's superficial, so be it...I think there are much worse things to be. I'm not fixated on my looks otherwise, but bodywise...it's just important to me.

Good luck with your weightloss goals. Check out the site...there's some decent info in here as far as fat loss, and food lists, etc.
