ok, whats the difference between fat burn (low intensity) and cardio (high intensity) heart rates for weight loss?
im trying to lose weight, but its way too easy for me to get truckin on any cardio machine and my heart rate is usually pretty up there. (its generally harder for me to keep my heart rate down in the low intensity area) am i or am i not getting the optimum fat burning by keeping my heart rate closer to my high intensity target? or is it just as good?

220-your age X 0.85
ok, im 35, so i should get my heart rate above 117? did i do that right? that seems sooo low. its SO easy to blow right past that. and im sure im not getting the right information just using the read outs on the machine. (the charts usually tell me around 102 for fat burn) is it close, or should i invest in a heart rate monitor? any recommendation on what brand? (not too expensive) and ktinspired, yeah, i have been doing HIIT lately. definitely a good way to get out some aggression!
