Default New to board and all of this and have fatburner question

Hi to everyone! I have a question to I'm sure someone on here will be able to help me with. Several years back I injured my back and was put on multiple medications (muscle relaxants and pain meds). The end result was I gained almost 50 lbs (I'm 5'4'' and was a nice 100 lbs before this) and my thryoid got all out of whack. My doctor put me on synthroid. I initially lost 27 lbs but have since hit a wall and can't seem to drop a pound no matter what I do. I'm 44 if that helps any. Anyway, my husband, who used to lift a lot bought me some Venom Hyperdrive 3.0 which I have been taking about a week now once a day. It makes me sweat and I do have a little trouble sleeping at night, but I have lost 3 lbs. Yippy! The other day he bought me a stacker to go with it, Thyrolean X. I took it for several days when he found something he liked better, Dicana. I just started taking it yesterday. Two pills a day.

My question is this. I read somewhere that the fatburners such as Dicana, may not work if you are taking Synthroid. Is this true? Should I go off the Synthroid and just use the Venom and Dicana? I'm completely new to all of this and just would like to have some semblance of my old self back! I'm not asking to look 20 again, I just don't want to look older than I am.

Thanks for reading! Hope you're all having a great weekend!

I would recommend against stacking Thyroid manipulating supps (or thyroid mimetics) when already taking a prescription synthetic. I would talk to your doctor about wanting to drop the Sythroid in favor of an OTC fat loss product. In the meantime, look into a sound diet and exercise regime.

I would also suggest reading up on SesaThin - it is a non-stimulator fat burner with many positive health benefits. It is safe to combine with your current medication. But, I would still suggest speaking with your physician for some long-term advice.
