Default Slacking off during HIIT...

So I can do up to 11 minutes of 30 second intervals in running right now..

Problem is, I really dont think I give 100% effort at all. My sprint has turned into a fast run lol. By the end of this time, im absolutely fried and exhausted, but I still feel like im cheating myself..

Anyone else slack a bit during HIIT? Does your sprint turn into a fast run near the end? haha

Sometimes, depending on my energy level that happens to me. It's freakin tough though.
Actually, my jog turns into a walk during my low intensity intervals sometimes.
I usually do 12 minutes with a 1.5 minute warm up and a 1.5 minute cool down. But sometimes I stop at 10 minutes and do a 3.5 minute cool down when I'm feeling lazy too.

As long as your giving it 85-90 percent and increasing intensity(thats the big one) from last HIIT workout youre good. If youre fried and exhausted like you say, youre probably doing it right. Its when you get done and feel like you can run another mile or 2 that id be worried.lol
