drexel73 has a spectacular aura about
Default need opinion on diet

I've been on a low carb diet for years.. I usually eat 55 to 60 grams of carbs a day.. I usually get most of my carbs from veggies and the minimal amount that exist in some of the other meats and things i eat.. I'm 6'3' 240lbs and work out regularly.. I'm trying to lose weight on the scale.. I want to be between 215-220.. I realize i can lose inches and body fat , but I actually want to see it on the scale.. I have cleaned my diet up a whole lot.. I have been eating 5 to 6 small meals daily.. Everything I've eaten recently has been high protein/ low fat.. I've cut out the high fat/ low carb foods.. I drink water exclusively.. I do the hitt's cardio on my non lifting days.. Lift usually 3 to 4 days a week.. I want to introduce complex carbs into my diet.. I have gotten results working out and doing low carb, but I know the results would be better if I had some more good carbs in my diet.. Would you hold off on the complex carbs while I get rid of the weight, or do you believe I could take the complex before workout and after and still lose the weight.. I'm not interested in the ckd diet by the way.. I have this posted in bodybuilding but no response..

Add in some complex carbs. If your only getting 55-60g of simple carbs a day I on't think your fueling the body enough.
