Like I've said, I've did it once and things went bad. I'm stocking at 285 but my % of fat is getting low.
I think Proteins and fat is not the problem, but carbos, which kinda carbos should I avoid? eating almost-nothing carbos makes catabolism? |

Personally, I would spend 80% of my energy on diet alone and the rest on cardio. Try and eat food that will keep you full longer (ie. Brown Rice). It's probably a good idea to incorperate some weights somewhere in there to maintain muscle density. This will keep your metabolism up seeing as muscle, while resting, burns way more calories than fat does.
Being such a big person you should naturally have a decent muscle base (It's quite abit like wearing a weighted jacket all day...) One problem that I have found is that when weight training (heavy weights) I need to feed my body. Not because I think I should, but because the anarobic acitivity is taxing on the system. The body will demand that you refuel. Now if you are concentrating on diet and cardio, you can manage the hunger a little easier. Try doing diet and cardio for 3 months then weights (and diet) for 2 or 3 months. This not only ads variety and keeps you motivated, it will probably be more effective. This is just my personal opinion. Read through some of the threads on this site. I consider Musclesntx and Vplayer to have some of the most interesting and informative opinions on this site. Good luck. Cheers. Btw, I started running last July until Sept and went from 194lbs to 169lbs. Then started weight training and got to 183lbs and kept the fat off. Diet was/is the key.
