Cool Take out the pop?

I just want to lose a some belly weight. I was thinking about cutting out the pop and not the fast food. Will that work?

And I heard caffeine makes you fat, is that true? So I shouldn't drink coffee?

The reason for not taking out the fast food is because of my job.

Caffeine actually helps with fat loss... apetite supressant and increases energy levels.

You're going to have to ditch the fast food if you want to get anywhere. Fast food is crap. Pop's crap too. Preprepare your meals in the morning and take them to work with you.

If you can't take out fast food, or at least from a regular basis then it's gonna be really hard to lose weight. Or at least make healthier choices like roast beef subs. Traditional fast food like burgers and fries make it really hard to lose weight since they provide so much calories that in order to achieve a net loss, your other meals will suffer or you excerise must be that much more intense. I have the feeling you don't get enough excercise either. You don't have to give up fast food, just make better informed choices. I eat burgers regularly, just not everyday. If you are serious about losing the weight, hard choices need to be made because in order to keep it off means making permanent changes.

I am going to be kicking up my cardio, should I do that everyday>? Every other day>? And, I will try to do Subway coldcuts. But, I dont have to cut out pastas and bread right? Just French Fries and Burgers all the time.

As long as the pasta/ bread are whole wheat they are great sources of good carbs...

You must cut out fast food....you will get nowhere fast eating that stuff....Just cutting out fast food helped me tremendously when I was just starting out....

Try to avoid all sugar drinks. I drink only water all day, but I allow myself 8 ozs of gatorade during and after my workouts to take my BCAA"s with and my whey.

And fast food....dang, it just sucks. It so so so bad. Besides the fat, you ahve to worry about the weird hormones they put int he cattle, the cholesterol increase that comes with all the grease and stuff. When I see fast food now, i almost get a little sick on my stomach.

Just stick to clean foods, steak, chicken, nuts, vegetables. LOTS OF WATER. And you will be good.

Canada predicts that sales of carbonated soda will have grown there by 2% in 2005 despite bad press and pessimistic reports. A market analyst said that consumers around the world will have guzzled a massive 194 billion liters of soda last year, the equivalent of 30 liters per drinker, even though the sector has come under intense criticism. Eastern Europe leads the way with a 7 % surge in demand for carbonated soft drinks between 2004 and 2005, while Asia, Central & South America, the Middle East & North Africa and the rest of Africa all clocked up growth of 3 or 4 %. They did fall by 1% in North America and Australia. This is not altogether surprising. Food and drink producers have come under increasing pressure in Europe and the US amid concerns over rising obesity rates, and soft drinks have increasingly been targeted.
