Question about a drug test....HELP!!!!
Hello everyone,
I just started taking xenidrine efx and I have a drug test in a week or so, I thought drug tests only detected ephedra and this product has none. Will this supplement cause me to fail a drug test???? Thanks in advance

my retarded company
has an equally retarded zero tolerance drug policy. i have been told that supplements wont cause you to fail. neither will steroids. the general test that a lot of companies use test for certain ranges of these Weed, PCP, Opiates, Amphetamines, Cocaine.
you guessed it the THC (marijuana) levels are among the lowest concentrations that cause a positive hit. keep this in mind at all times: its not a war on drugs but a war on personal freedom. imohct (in my own humble conspiracy theory) major beer companies and insurance companies pay off the government to give breaks to other companies of blue collar workers to implement such drug tests so that after work instead of relaxing safely in your house and puffin on a jib-jab you go to a bar, spend your hard earned money on booze and drive home so that when you crash on your way back your insurance premiums go up, you get hurt, cant work, then you hit the booze even harder. sorry didnt mean to rant. i just get worked up over the ludicrousness of having THC on a drug test. jason

Xenad. won't make u test positive on a drug test, there is nothing in it that converts to any illegal drugs tested for in a urine test. As for a blood test, there is even less to worry about cause they can pinpoint more accurately what caused any fail, at least, but even this one shouldn't be a concern. Unless u are taking stuff that actually chemically converts in ur body to something similar, u don't need to worry. I would worry more about poppy seed ( i think these are the ones that have a similar affect if u eat them too close to testing and can cuase a positive.

That is a good point...certain stimulants like psuedoephedrine actually contain very, very small amounts of various amphetamines (as impurities) and if the drug test is sensitive enough you might test positive.... I have even heard stories of Advil (in high amounts) giving a false positve for THC....might be a myth, but I have heard it more than once...

do they do test if ur not a competing athlete?....i cant understand why a normal person would take a test ...unless he is an athlete of course ?..who can force u to do that ??

It is most likely a pre-employment screening...I take it you aren't from the US?
Almost everywhere requires a drug screening prior to hiring....

yes man i m not from the US , it s weired though they do such test for hiring ....what exactly do they test for ???....the reason am asking is that i might be going to the US in a couple of years to do my post graduate studies ....and if i liked it there i ll live ...if not i ll go back ...

Yeah they test for recreational and sometimes prescription drugs before hiring you to most jobs here in the US. The only jobs I can think of that don't test are resturant type jobs. It usually only happens the one time (before hiring) and some places will test you if they suspect you of using...alot of people who use drugs will come off of them for a few weeks just to pass the screens...and then start right back using b/c they don't get tested again...
What country are you from bro? (if you don't mind me asking)

traz , am from lebanon , dont understand me wrong : it s a beautiful country and stuff , but it really sucks .....almost veryone never heard of it (by the way did u ever heard of it)......one of the s h i t t i e s t countries u could ever live in .....the nice thing about it is that the ppl are so educated and intelligent : if u know carlos ghosn (who revolutianzed nissan) he s lebanese .....shakira , her father is lebanese ....ronnie saikaly(nba player) is lebanese also ........so basically when lebanese go to outside they shine , that s because we dont have the capabilities here .....thats why i wanna do my residency training in medicine in the US , cuz it s where u can get the best education

That is cool man! Of course I have heard about Lebanon! My girlfriend and I are pretty into geography. Yeah there is a lot of trouble going on there with Syria right now...I am I correct?
Yeah the US is pretty cool to live in, Canada is nice as well. You have alot of freedom here, but there are some ridiculous rules too... I work in a hospital with a ton of doctors from the middle east...they seem to do really well here in my town. I live in Hattiesburg, Mississippi...now I know you have never heard of my town! Alot of people that live in the US have never heard of it either....it is really small, but nice and cheap to live in...we took alot of damage from Hurricane Katrina, but we are getting back to normal now... BTW...you might want to watch your language...I mean it doesn't bother me at all, but the mods will probably get on to you at some point....

well , excuse me for my lang first , but living here makes u desperate , i dont wanna go into politics but basically few ppl are in charge and they use religion to take control of everything , yes we do have a trouble with syria bt guess what , the politicians who are now against syria were 2 years ago cooping with it and stealing the money from this country , when they saw things are changing and the US is against syria they turned 180 degree ....

Now, I was in the military (yes Canada has a military) and there was random drug testing there, but thats a bit different than being employed in the public sector.

i love canada
count me in as one of the few americans who loves canada.
national healthcare, decriminalized weed, no drug tests, HOCKEY, molson. unwavering liberlism i gotta move there. cant find a job yet though, and i dont speak french. blast. one day...one day.

I think Canada is about as close to legalizing pot as you can be, without it actually being legal. There is small fines for possession, although I am not totally familiar with the laws as I don't use recreational drugs.
