Default help me get out of this rut

As some of you know, I was sick friday before last, but I still went out and had a hard work out. Well, my condition worsened (though may not be neccessarily due to working out alone) and I was bed ridden and feeling week.

Then last thursday was my last day of my job. The job market aint doing great here, so I am looking at minimum of 1 month and probably around 2 months of waiting time before I get a decent job.

Plus the landlord sent a note saying we gotta move out, so I am busy looking for another apartment, with a keen eye on my bank account cause my savings are depleting by the day and I still have 2 or 3 months to survive without an incoming pay check. And the property prices have gone up in Singapore and all the new houses I am looking at are 1.6 to 2x more expensive than the current ones.

I haven't been able to avoid being mentally stressed about these things and I have fallen to over eating junk food, sleeping irregular hours for the last 1 week. I have also not taken any of my supplements and needless to say, I have not seen the gym for 10 days. My health which I *think* is my top priority in life suddenly seems to have taken a back seat amidst all these ongoing issues. I even had to coax myself last 2-3 days to type this message out.

I feel sad to see my muscles deplete, it's almost like losing a child or a pet.

I live in a different country from my parents and relatives etc and I dont really have a bunch of friends (was too busy in U to make friends, and then too busy in work after that) so I dont really have any strong support group that I goto.

So this is my post on BB4U to all you determined guys and gals out there who overcome the shhit in their lives to pursue their love for bodybuilding and fitness.

Red face Desperate situations seek desperate measures..

My schedule has been completely wacked into oblivion for the last 1 week. It looks something like this:

1. Get up at around 2pm (feeling very hungry)
2. Order 1 Macdonalds Chicken sandwitch meal with fries and coke, extra large
3. Have another large meal (dinner) around 9pm.
4. Go out drinking/clubbing or hang out till 4-5 am
5. Come back, go to bed by 6-7am.
6. Goto step 1..

After typing my earlier post on this board yesterday, I could feel some changes are in order. So yesterday night I did not go anywhere, and I haven't blinked an eye all night and today morning and it's almost 6:30 in the evening here. So I have been awake for about 28+ hours and I am feeling so wrecked.

And guess what, today morning I took all my supplements, cooked my egg whites and then hit the gym to do cardio for 35 mins. I also treated myself to a nice movie, partly to celebrate this positive change, and also to help me stay awake.

I will have dinner around 7 and then take an MRP around 9 and hit the bed at around 10pm. Hopefully I can get up tomorrow morning around 7am and have a *normal* day with all 6 meals, suppls, and gymming.

I do feel really ****tty today but hopefully I can get back on track tomorrow onwards.

thanks for listening

Default As a side note..

I took 9 hydroxycut caps today (3x3) and it supposed to help you stay awake and stuff right?? Wrong! I have been feeling like dozing off every second of the day today, even after taking the max recommended dosage of HCut.

I guess once you dont sleep for almost 30 hours, no amount of caffein can help you stay awake? or maybe hydroxycut just doesnt work on me??

I sounds like you need to cut back on the clubbing (mainly b/c you stay up too late drinking while you are there). I know it is hard, but you can do it. I was going to clubs 6-7 nights a week for a while and it really took a toll on me. I started only going on friday nights (gotta party sometime) and it has worked out really well and really helped my gains.

Well, Traz, u know what -- this is what happens to me:

Saturday night i go partying, come back around 4am, sleep around 6..get up at 2 in the afternoon. And then, I just cant go to sleep on Sunday night on time, and then this abnormal schedule continues for the rest of the week.

Since I am not working right now, I dont have a damn good reason to wake up early.

The only solution that works is to miss sleep for one night, spend the next day zombying around, then wake up on time the following day.

I really wish I had better control over my sleep patterns It really plays havoc with my workout and diet, not to mention the stress it brings.
