Default Wrist pain

So I've had this slight pain in my right wrist for a couple weeks now. (I'm right handed btw) I don't know if it's from lifting or something else. I actually just woke up one day and it was hurting. I feel like the pain has gotten slightly better, but it's still there.

I took a week off the gym, not necessarily because of my wrist, actually because I was sick... but over the past week I got back in the gym. My wrist actually never really hurts at all when I'm lifting, I do wear gloves with wrist wraps on them which probably helps somewhat. But really lifting doesn't cause pain anyways... it only hurts when I move my wrist in a twisting, cork-screw type motion. I feel more pain doing regular day to day things like opening a door... turning the steering wheel when I drive... stuff like that. And the pain isn't horrible... just kind of annoying.

Wondering if anyone has had something similar, or know what it could possibly be. I guess I might go to the doctor and have him look at it. Think I should refrain from lifting, even if I don't feel any pain when I lift?

Thanks in advance for advice/input.

From what you're describing it looks like tendonitis! I had that because of weight training and poor ergonomy at my computer desk!

If you work on computer. Try wearing a wrist support while working to rest youre wrist! Take anti inflamatory medication and put some inflamatory creme also to remove the pain and speed the healing process!

When I had tendonitis I continue working out when I could! But not sure it's the best thing to do!

yeah I was thinking it might be tendonitis from reading a couple other things

I'm sure working out wouldn't be the greatest... but I really can't stand taking time off

I dunno... I'll think about... thanks for the answer
