Tape Job
Two years ago durring a baseball game I pulled the ligiments in my left thumb and when the ligiments were pulled they also tore off the small bone they are attached to in my thumb...Then once i got the cast off being the big teenage hero i was i had to jump right back in and start playing baseball and play try out for the Canada Cup team we were having (I made it), even though i wasn't suppose to play any sports at all for another two weeks but i couldn't handle no more sports. So while i played baseball i taped it and wore a brace for my thumb and for football i just got the trainer we had to tape it (he was a teacher on taping at the University of Manitoba).
Then last year came and it was fine didn't hurt or anything and i wasn't taping it. Then this year playing baseball it started to hurt again while catching and the first time it happened i was back catching and just caught it weird and it hit my thumb about 3 times and it hurt so bad i could of cried. So then the next time i taped it and it was good but i ran out of tape and then i caught again and did the same thing again except i was smart and pulled myself after that that game. Then i taped it last game and i caught it weird and it started to hurt it hurts the most at the joint...
Sorry for the excesivly long story but the only really important part is probably the last sentence, but what i was wondering is do any of you's know how to properly tape my thumb up to prevent it from hurting, and not restrict the movement of it to much?
