Unhappy Wrist Injury

Hi,

I have a wrist injury, and I was wondering if you could help me.

I have been to the doctors for this and they have recommended rest, but maybe you guys have another opinion. There was on inflammation or redness after this injury. Just pain and clicking/popping. It is not a broken bone either.

I was on the pectorial fly machine and on my last set last rep i got lazy and let the weight slam down. By doing this my wrist snapped back. (STUPID I KNOW, DONT NEED TO TELL ME! lol)

Right now if I rotate my right wrist (palm down to palm up) I feel a clicking. And sometimes this clicking will stop and start randomly. But it is painful.

I haven't trained for over a month now and have been doing physio exercises i saw online and have been trying to strengthen my wrist in very small light doses. But it does not seem to be getting much better.

Can you advice on what has actually happened, what is wrong and how long it will take to heal please.

Many Thanks

Take the rest, if there is something minor, and your still lifting your goin to aggravate this and make it worse, possibly cause irreversable damage....

Take some time off and get better...

I got arthritis in my right kneee, and its the worst you can get, and im only 24.....

Trust me you dont want that....

Rest and wait, im just getting back to lifting and its been over 2 years....
