Default Side chest pain

Hey all,

This started on my last chest day (last Friday), i was doing flat bb presses and on my 2nd to last set (fairly heavy) i decided to do really strict paused set. First couple of reps were great, but on the third of fourth one i felt a sharp twingey pain in my peck (close to where it connects to your armpit) the pain was most evident at the lowest part of the decline when my elbow's were stretched back the furthest.

long story short, it wasn't bad... just wrote it off as a little pull or something and kept working and stretching it.

Well today was my next chest day... again first few sets were great, but then outa no where on my 3rd set it comes back, but a bit worse this time.
I guess i should also note that its hard to reproduce the pain without actually pressing something, it doesn't ache or anything like that.

Im wondering if this is a common area of the chest to exp pulls/strains/knots est.. ???

Yeah, I used to get pain in that exact spot. I started massaging it to get hte knot out. Also before I bench I always grab a 2.5lbs. disc and use it to stretch the muscle out. I've found that to be pretty beneficial.

I have the same thing you have right now. I thought it went away but i still feel a little strain if i try and bench. Right now I'm trying to let it heal and just do close grip--it seems not to bother it.
