Default anterior cervical spine surgery!

hi all..long story short..felt a twinge back on labor day..mri revealed herniated disc in neck.surgery 11/19...ok..first, if anyone here has had this done id like to hear about it and how you fared in the gym after healing..also..the worst symptom i had was left side weakness..it was very evident just looking at me..right side buff, left side severely lacking..i guess the nerve root being damaged attributed to this..its 3 wks post op and the weakness is still there..and..even way before surgery my left pec and left tricep were always sore if i touched them, as if i had worked them out hard which i hadnt of course. i still have that feeling. i figured by now id be regaining strentgh..and i dont return to doctor til jan...im very frustrated and im worried that my left side is gone for good..maybe i just need lots of healing..anyway, any input is appreciated..
