Default Operation soon..

Hey iam having a operation soon on my nose and won't be able to exercise for 3 weeks!!! What can i do to minimise the detraining to my body muscles etc? Iam 17 and having been working out at the gym for about a year now and i don't want to lose the hard work!! Any help would be appreciated and if this isn't in the right area feel free to move the thread thanks!

I wouldn't sweat it, 3 weeks inst a big deal. If you see any loss at all it will be tiny.

Just don't forget to keep eating right and who knows, you may actually benefit from a good rest.

I had sinus surgery a couple years ago. You aren't going to be out of the gym all that long. Just do as the doctor orders.

I need a nose job....
...or so I've been told.

But anyway...it's 3 weeks. Keep your diet clean while you're recovering up and you'll be fine.

thanks everyone thats re-assuring =) yeah iam getting rhinoplasty(nose job) and the doc says no exercise for 3 weeks after the surgery.. after 2 weeks i can start stretching and very light stuff but after the 3rd week i can get back to the gym
