forearm pain
So this summer I did a fair amount of landscaping to get outside and away from my internship where I would just sit around at a computer all day wasting away...well one of the projects was to put up a fence, so I had to drive the fenceposts into the ground. Basically I had a post driver and with both hands I'd pull the driver down on the post as hard as I could to pound it into the ground and it would completely jar my hands and my arms. To give an idea of the "form" it was like a barbell curl with a narrow grip (palms up grip) and "pulling" down as hard as I could with gravity helping until the hollow post driver pounded the post down. I kept hitting the gym with my normal schedule and I would have these shooting pains down my forearms sometimes whenever I gripped a weight or was on the lower part of a bicep curl. Its not the radius, its the outer one that goes from like elbow to pinky....its just shooting pain that over a couple weeks has gradually come back to become pretty bad...its both arms too so I know it had something to do with putting up that fence. I'm taking a week off from lifting (which I absolutely hate to do) but would this be considered as some kind of tendonitis or stress fracture?? Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar to this happen to them and what they did. Oh and btw, if this helps "diagnose" it doesnt hurt if I'm not doing anything...just certain movements, like it got to me today when I went out golfing...thanks in advance for any help
