Default 3 weeks and counting

3 weeks till my acl reconstructive surgery...

I underwent a a total of 2 surgeries soo far , from when the landrover fell on my leg at work..

first Surgery They cleaned up the torn meniscus's, and the inflammed tissue, that is when they found out my acl was destroyed...

2nd surgery was 3 weeks ago, they took out more inflamed tissue, and prepped me for my main surgery by removing my old acl, and scrapping down the bone...

They decided on doin a acl from a cadaver, vs the the alo graft which requires a bigger cut and making a acl out of tissue found in the hamstring , which will possibly weaken the hamstring later on...

Not looking forward to the 6-8 weeks of not walking, and the PT i have to do afterwards, also, i have articular damamge under the knee which means ill have arthritis which blows.....

Soo thats that.. Ill keep yas posted on my progress

Well in Oct had my Acl/Pcl Reconstructed , and its doin great.......... Ill only get about 85% of my leg usuage again, but considering 4 surgeries in less than a year i think thats good....

Docs looking at my shoulder now, he says Rotator cuff looks great, theres alot of good tissue and spacing between my bone and my shoulder ..

He thinks i just need to get some anchors to hold the muscle tighter soo it wont pop out, soo i can be lifting by the end of summer which im looking forward too

Damn Wee. The phrase "been through hell and back" doesn't even seem to closely be able to be applied here lol.

Summer though, hopefully it'll come SOON!

SOON SOON SOON!

I was working at my job

and i was on the ground underneath a car when the jack failed and a 2004 landrover came down ontop of my leg snapping it back destroying the meniscus tissues and the acl ligament....

I had 4 surgeries

1st one was meniscus tissue repair

2nd Meniscus tissue acl removal

3rd Acl replacement meniscus tissue repair

I realzed at therapy i want getting any better soo my workmans comp sent me to a difrent doctor with a new line of mris...

He found out that Not only did the old doc **** my knee up by not positiong the new acl correctly , but during one of his many surgeries he CUT OUT or MISTOOK my PCL ligament For another tissue and removed it

Soo the last surgery i had i had to get a complete pcl and acl rebuild on my knee

And btw arthritis blows, doc says i have a paper thing meniscus now and a descent sized articular bone spur on my femur

Soo thats where that stands

Tibia not femur that was a mistype above.......

Yeah well see in nj you get workmans comp settlement, soo they have to figure that out... But..

When u recieves workmans comp u can sue for malpractice, but the ****ed up part is that when you recieve it u gotta pay back 2/3 of what workmansc comp paid out to you in surgeries, comp money, and your settlement.....

Which blows...

But

Im gettign my shoulder fixxed for free cause it dislocated at physcial therapy one day and there forced to pay for that now, ahd thatl make my settlement go up
