Default sore throat

So i have been waking up every morning for the last week with a sore throat, which dissipates by noon. However, it got worse the last few days, and today, i woke up and was afraid to swallow. I went to my infirmary at school, they ran a strep test and did blood work to check for mono, I have neither. I have bad allergies and a stuff head, so the doc said it is either drainage that is causing sore throat, or a virus, taht will have to work itself out in a few days. I have no other symptoms, I am going to assume its allergies.

This leads to two main points.

1. I hate being allergic to most things on this earth. Trees, cut grass, hay, straw, pollen, lots of animals, etc... But I have to deal with it, so ya.

2. The nurse doing my blood test missed my vein twice on my left arm, then had to go to the right. I don't mind needles at all, I think its cool to see em stab that metal into me, however, 3 times is just excessive.

They told m to buy some claritin, since I am a student, I get 30 claritin tabs for $1 dollar, lol, i love state school medical care.

I have bad allergies, but have been on allegra D and nasonex for about 3.5 weeks now. Although the weather here just started to get warm, I haven't had a bad allergy day since I started the new meds.

The pollen should start to get bad here in the next few days and that is what will bother my throat. Always does... I wake up with a sore throat and it is gone within a few hours.

I hate allergies, but love good weather, so I gots to suffer

I am fighting a sinus infection too! I have been cursed with sinus issues thanks to my genetics. This is the first infection I have had in over six years! If it is allergies, as you state, Claritin is fine. If it is an infection, your blood work would have shown that, then some other type of decongestant would be applicable along with an antibiotic. Hope you get to feeling better soon. I now on day 5 feeling down and out.

I can relate. I too, am an allergy sufferer. Im always plagued with sinus problems, congestion, sneezing, and Ive had sinus infections before. I get the sore throat as well.

A sinus infection will require an antibiotic and prednisone as well. Thats what my doctor gives me when I get one.

Antioxidant levels suck dude. I'm going to test you when you're here, but I'm guessing sub 25000... You get your levels up over 50,000 and you'll no longer suffer. I'm amazed by the people that I have tested that NEVER have allergy problems and ARE OVER 50,000 compared to people that have tons of issues that are really low (like I was, I'm getting better).

you keep talking about all the tests and the numbers and the importance of anti-oxidants. I take anti-oxidants, i realize my absorption may suck, or maybe my supps do, but I cannot for the life of my figure out any more to do. I will agree, my levels probably do suck, but what can I do to fix that bro?

This is all split up throughout day, but here it goes. Here is what I take on a normal day.

2-3 grams vit. C
800 IU vit. E
my multi
i try to drink green tea 2-3 times

so i knwo i could do more, but that is a fair amount of anti-oxidants for your regular guy. my question is, what else do your recommend, because i will do anything if it would actually make my allergies calm down.

I'll have to explain that sh!t more in-depth when we're face to face. I've spent the last month doing all of the antioxidant research I can and it has pretty much changed the way I view a lot of stuff. I have a doc that I am training that is writing a book on the very subject and he spends 5 hours a week telling me about his research.

But remember this - I took 4-6g of C, 1200IU of E and expensive ass multis and still busted a cancer-like 17000. I have some charts on my laptop at my studio that I would like to show you. You'll be here in a few weeks, and I'll have a class on it for you fags. Hrpii, No, I'm not going to wear a skirt, high heels, sexy glasses, and put my hair in a ponytail because I don't have hair.
