Default Benchpress causes back problems?

I dont know, but i believe the arch in my back whist bench pressing has caused something to happen. It doesn't accualy hurt whist i bench press but what happens is.. i find that when i come to round my back whist upright, a bone of somesort stops me from doing it, so i then force it and i get a crack/pop from it.. its really irrating and i have to do like every 30 minutes... anyone suffer for them this, should i see a chiro ...??

[edit] Ill also add it has became quite tender too...

Sounds like the sacrum, but I'd have to see exactly where you're talking about. Right where the spinal column and the tailbone meet, I assume?

IF you're feeling some discomfort there, yes, you need to make sure you're lined up, but also realize that having a muscle weakness is what usually pulls people out of alignment. Make sure you're giving your lower back and posterior core the proper attention they need - you're only as strong as your weakest link.
