That's some scary sh!t right there.

I mean, who puts a bar on their back and ever thinks that their legs will give out and break like that?
I don't, so that is scary as hell..

Sh!t happens, hopefully it wont happen to me as squats are by far my strongest lift out of the big 3 and would hate to fvck up my legs, however saying that his legs seemed somewhat underdeveloped compared to the rest of him.

That is just plain stupid. Sucks for him though. Although, I have no sympathy for someone who trys to lift more than he should.

Why don't you do some thinking before you post an asinine comment like that? Perhaps that is beyond your mental capacity. Who knows - but this is coming from an ass clown who doesn't deadlift and who ranted on in many threads (actually started one too, lol) about not "being a feather weight". lol

Here are a couple copy/pastes from his log. He is capable of that weight.

I think we all lift more than we should, that's why our bodies adapt to the overload and decide it's time to grow.

But then again, who wants to progress and get stronger and bigger ~
It's very overated

Not that it matters, but I am still pissed about this sh*t. Why in the world would you say this? Jealousy that you will never have half the heart that this guy does to train with all out intensity?

The guy broke two bones in his left leg, one in his right, and ripped ALL of the ligaments/cart in both knees. He won't walk for 6 months, minimum and will have to live at a rehabilitation facility the entire time.

You, my friend, are the lowest of the low. Scumbag.

I encourage everyone who cares, neg rep this fool.

FFFFUUUUCCCCCCKKKKK! lol almost makes me not want to lift. lol jk but brings the thought from the back of ur mind. thats y i dont like maxing, just do as many reps and then use calc or sumthn. just cuz ur muscles can handle weight, doesnt mean ur bones and tendons/ligaments are up to par. WOOOO!

I think because he knew he could handle the weight fairly easily, he got somewhat relaxed about it and for that his leg gave way as he wasnt giving all his focus to the lift, theres a moral to this whole story but i cant think what that moral is? Good luck for a speedy full recovery where ever you are Big guy.

It was a freak accident for sure. It can happen to anybody squating 200 or 800 lb. It is a remainder that weight lifting is a sport with some risks and the ppl who get the most results are the ones who tend to risk a lot more than ppl who do not take risks but do not make any progress either. This definitely proved the point that it takes pushing your body to the limits and take calculated risks to accomplish goals and sometimes it does not go the way it was planned.
