Default Very sore quads and hamstrings

Friday night I think I over killed my legs seeing that I can barely walk or put my legs straight, does anyone know exercises to reduce some of the soreness? I went to the gym and did the bike for a bit to try to get blood pumping through the muscles but it didn't seem to help too much

walk and stretch it out, not much else you can do but pop a few IBproferin and take some glutamine.

You wouldn't do exercises when the reason why you're sore is because you did exercises lol I just thought that was funny you said that.

I've killed my legs twice my whole life. You can do what STUK advised and/or just don't walk

Rest your muscles. That's all. If they're still too sore next time you go to work them out, don't work them out. Simple as that. Listen to your body.

Doing a little exercise to get the blood flowing will help speed recovery a little bit. Makes perfect sense. But when your muscle is so depleted and tore up as you describe it may do more harm than good.

Very true. But I assumed that his muscle being torn up or whatever, was the case at hand. Rest is always a good option one way or the other I think.

Some people have longer recovery times, after my leg pump gos away i cannot stand for about 3 to 4 hours and i have never used a supplement that helped to reduce these times. After leg day when i get home i have a weight gainer drink and just take a couple hour nap.

i've had a huge problem with just giving up when working out also, i guess that is all mental though, like half the time i'm like ah forget this and move onto something else (unless i'm there with my trainer who doesn't let me stop till i'm done) so i dont' know if any of you have special techniques to get yourself through a few more reps. because i end up going home half the time feeling like i could do so much more
