Default hand and ankle weights

do you think wearing hand and ankle weights while running patterns and catching the football would do any damage to my wrists or ankles. I've heard mixed feelings on wearing ankle or had weights and I just thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to wear them while runnin patterns. also, what do you guys think of those sped chute things? anyone ever try one?

i used to use them, if your going anywhere near 70+% running i wouldnt reccomend them, they mess up your knees.

Yep...Running in ankle weights is not a good idea. It is really easy to hyperextend your knee with weight attached to your foot. I like ankle weights, but I don't run in them.
