Default Wrist pain... again

Hi all, i get from time to time a pain in my wrists. It hurts a lot when I have my palm facing down and bend my wrist down (kind of like when you flex your 4arm) or when you bend it up. It's really annoying when I flat bench because in a flat bench your wrist bends up so I do not flat bench when one of my wrists hurt like this. I also feel a bump or knot that is on the top part of my wrist in the middle when I bend it down. This knot is pretty small but when you touch it it hurts also. I have seen several people with this problem so I'm sure some of you have experiened it before. Heard ice is good every 30 min on/off deal. It works but takes a few days or a week if it's bad. I notice I hurt it a lot when I'm either in bed or sitting on the floor then put my hand on the ground (palm down) and push myself up. That usually causes a sharp annoying pain that sticks with me for about a week. Hope I explained myself ok. All I do is lift weights. My profession is in IT so I type all day but use proper wrist support. Any secret home remedies or other sollutions would be appreciated, thanks (and no it's not the hand I ..... well forget it)

i'm going through the same thing.. I believe i strained it during lifting.. I've started applying ice to it.. I'm considering taking a week off, but that's last resort.. I'm thinking rest is the only answer..

I broke my wrist 2 times and pain shoots thru it when i lift. I just use the pain to get mad and do more reps thru the pain. I will probably pay for this later but life goes on.

Remember:Pain is weakness leaving the body.

I get that same pain every now and then.
Especially when I do close grip Up-right Rows. Something about the high raised squeeze at the top of that motion just pops my wrist back and forth. Often to the point to where I have to stop in the middle of a set and readjust. All i can recomend is maybe use wrist wraps for exercises that put the most strain on yuor wrist and also try give your wrist a little rest. If you can skip a couple of exercises that really emphasis pressure on the rest, it might not be a bad idea. Not saying take a week off, just trim it back a tad on the ones that strain your sore area.

Oh yeah,
start j@#$ing-off with your other hand.

Yea i get the exact same thing as you.

If its bad a stupid little bump appears when i bend my wrist forward, but if its during my non-hurting phase then my wrist just looks normal.

Rite now it kinda hurts actualy... fuk.

To strengthen your wrists, sit on a bench, and put your arms palm up on top of your legs. Allow your hands to hang off in front of your knees. Then grab two light weights, and twist. You'll feel a good burn there and this should help you avoid further injury. Good luck.
