Now my shoulders are hosed, but for some reason, my knees survived 520lb deep squats (and I'm 6'3" and 210lbs). Whatever.
What is now killing me is very bad pain in my left forearm. It seems like the tendon that comes out under the bicep and connects to the forearm, and the pain seems to be where the tendon attaches to the forearm. Any standard curls, reverse curls, or hammers hurt so much I can hardly do them
Do you guys think this is tendinitis? It is really pissing me off.
I've had MRIs on the shoulders, and I know the problems there. Maybe I need one for the forearm? My trainer seems puzzled and he knows his stuff.
From what you guys are saying, this does not seem like micro fractures. I am not going super heavy anymore - probably 45lb dumbells max. Hurts whether I use a straight bar of curl bar as well.
Any help for an Old guy is appreciated.

It doesnt sound like microfractures. I've had microfractures in my forearms, and something very similar to what you describe in my left bicep down to my forearm. Exercises that make it hurt the worst are heavy bent over rows, and hammer curls, reverse curls. It still flairs up once in a while and has been like a year since it first started to happen. What helped it go away was light curling with barbell for a little while. Then I switched to light dumbells for a little while. Focused more on forearms. Stayed away from the exercises that made it hurt worst, like heavy bentover rows. I think thats what did it to me. Anyways, much much better now. I dont really have any problems with standing barbell curls. Alternating dumbell curls still worry me a little, but I do them. Bentover rows, i'm starting to go heavy again. Back to hitting 225 and i've noticed it acting up a little.
Good luck
