LOL!

Has anyone ever experianced shoulder pain?

LOL

I don't think there's a weight lifter alive who doesn't wake up every morning with at least some pain in some joint. Welcom to the club my Son.

Well I'm no Doctor but my first recomendation is for you to see one.
With joint pain, you can never be sure, and if yor not sure and assume it's nothing, you can expect the worst!

More than likely you have an inflamed tendon or lig. Rest it for more than "2 days off" and yes, keep iceing it for 15 minute intervals. 2 to 3 times a day. Some people will recomend heat. I'm not a fan of heating up an already inflamed tendon. I think that only makes maters worse. Heat works great on sore muscles. But not tendons. So, in short, rest and ice. Alot of rest and alot of ice. If you have to take a break from upperbody lifts for 3 weeks, so be it. Do it! It's better to miss 3 weeks and come back stong as an Ox then try and "work through the pain" and damage something for good.

Go see a Doctor.
