Default muscle spasm

anyway, i'm thinking thats what it was...yesterday i had a really weird tightness feeling in my right hamstring...it only lasted about 3 mins but i was afraid to walk...i was standing at the time...it was really uncomfortable feeling too but i only had it that once...it was 6 hrs after workout...anyone experience this ever?
what does it mean?

okay it was like a pinching pain..but i wasnt doing any exercise or lifting when i felt it...i was just standing...is this enough info?

Sounds like a cramp...try adding a little more magnesium to your diet....works for me.

Could be the siatic nerve, I have that feeling on my right buttocks and hamstring for a few weeks now...I did it by compessing my lower back on squats, I have to stretch it out to help the pain.

doubt it. sciatic nerves main feeling is the outside of the thigh and not the hamstring.

i used to get tight cramps in my hammies all the time. Your muscles cramp due to a lack of potassium mainly and magnesium.

Happens alot 2 me, after a rugby match. Or sometimes during a match >_<

Overstressing? Not enough oxigen?

so, are you saying it was a cramp then? if so, should i supplement more with those vitamins you suggested or am i missing something from my diet maybe?

i am not overstressing i dont think...it only happened this one time and i hope never again..it was really weird!

Yeah it can be really painfull.
Cuz its one of the biggest muscles in your body.
I know I screamed like a little schoolgirl when I had the cramp

Me too. When my ham's cramp it hurts like mad. I wish i would die at that moment.
