That pic hurts my eyes!

No...bodybuilding should help with softball. It always pays to be stronger.

being a cathcer, you should really focus on your legs, meaning squats, and hamstring curls. You squat for 2 hours a game, and having that strength will be a bnefit.

Also, since you are a strong girl by your appearance, the team relies on you to put up some good numbers at the plate. For this, making improvements in your core strength(abs and obliques) will give you more power in your swing. Dont lift heavy on your upper body. getting swole shoulder muscles will result in arm problems. the rotator muscles can get too big for throwing a ball, and they will rub against eachother, be unlimber(unflexible is a bad thing for shoulders), and will inflame and possibly tear, and you will have shoulder problems. Trust me, i could throw 91mph til i threw out my elbow, and arm maintenance is more important han anything for baseball/softball. For your upper body, i would do only 3 sets of 15 reps(medium weights) as the most agressive lifting for upper body.

focus on your core, and your legs, and try to drop some body fat by doing cardio. If you strengthen up and tone your body by losing the extra weight, you could be a great asset to the team as well on the base path having some speed. Every team likes a 5 crown player, can hit for power and average, can run, can defend, and a reliable strong arm.

good luck.
