Roth is better than Sammy Hagar yes, BUT they still put out GOOD music w. Hagar. The newest frontman sucks. Sucks so bad hes not worth my brain remembering his name.

On a more relevant topic, my advice to you is to start with air, no weight. Bend down and get your form down. Act like you have a bar and bend all the way down. Also, I used to do these things called "rockets." I dont know if you are familiar with them, but they are just like a squat where you bend all the way down, but then you just jmp as high as you can. Do like 50 of those every other day, it will strengthen your legs and eventually you'll be able to do the bar.

you arent supposed to have cushioning when you squat. think about it. you have 425 lbs on your back, you dont want to be standing on an air cushion. you lose stability.

also, you want to be on your heels when u squat. so with a lot of cushion it tends to push your weight towards your toes.
