Eat more first of all, eat high protein foods.

Take creatine, take whey protein these two things are meant to bulk you up and make you big/strong.

You seem to lack the quantity of food that you need to eat....
For a meal for example eat 1 patatoe, 6-8 oz of meat, some veggies, and wash that down with a glass of milk or juice.
eat like that 5-6 x a day and you will gain weight. If you want throw in some nuts and cookies once a day pls do.
That meak is just an example but you can mix and match other foods like pasta, ground beef, rice etc

bump - since no respose
and a few questions
keep in mind i am doing the max - ot routine.

what do you think of taking this shake
then just eat breakfast/lunch/dinner
2,500 calories / 100g of protein

1 cup peanut butter
3.5 cups milk
1 cup vanilla ice cream
2 tbsp olive oil

There you have it. A day's worth of calories in one shake.

Comes out to about 40 ounces.

and in my gym there is some pretty big guys like on these forums how do i go about asking for help i am worried of a rejection in a bad way hah cuz i know when you're in the zone with youre mp3 and pumping iron don't wanna be bothered it would be alot more help getting help hands on the fourms with no response D: i lift really light with squats and deads i wanna make sure i am doing it right.Half and half working alone can be alright but haveing a partner pushing a bit would be sweet anyone live in minnesota :P

Hey Dblahnik,

I'd say no to the shake. Even when you're mass gaining you still need to separate your caloric intake over the day. Otherwise, your body cannot get to that energy and valuable nutrients before they are stored as fat. As well, you really shouldn't intake much more than 50g of protein in any one meal and expect to get the full results. There are rumors saying your body can't handle more than 40g but this is false in my experience. Regardless, you need to separate it to ensure your body isn't just passing it though.

As far as approaching in the gym... in my experience, most people are pretty willing to help; however, you never know when you might hit a guy on a testosterone cycle who is going to be a complete ass. Bottom line, don't worry about it. If you see somebody in there that looks knowledgeable, wait until they are between exercises and ask them some form questions. If you hit it off with them, you can ask about meeting up in the future.

Good luck with your bulking and get some after pictures for us!

You'll find that most guys in the gym are willing to help. At least I always am and I have never had a problem asking for help. In fact this has led to making some friends at the gym.

We were all "small" at one point in our lives, it's not like we're born big. Just keep that in mind.

thanks gill & thank you BlackWinterDay
i will be more easy approaching someone now
even though i know i wont be getting a workout partner that is twice my size even though that would be awesome, as long as i can get as much help in the gym + these fourms i will be happy. For the Shake question what if i split it up to 2-3 different times throughout the day i know i will be gaining a decent amount of fat with what i have put together with that but my up most concern is mass for my small form eating is a problem i would at a grocery store i get plenty of the fruits but that really is high on the last at the moment i am making ****ty money and i get the food from what my parents bring home still so i am looking for the best way to get gains i got the working hard as hell in the gym part but i need the FOOD.

the more comments i get the better

thanks!

David

I wasn't necessarily worried about you gaining fat. When bulking, that is inevitable. I was more cautious about the efficiency of that kind of shake. At your current size, I think that large of a shake wouldn't be utilized to the extent it would be in a much larger person.

I'm definitely not a nutrition expert, I just know what works for me. If you want a more precise opinion about your diet, head over to the Diet and Nutrition Chat forum (http://www.bodybuildingforyou.com/fo...utrition-chat/) and see what kinds of answers you get there.

Good luck!
