Default Some help 17 year old noob

Whats up guys. Im pretty new to the working out thing. But i play sports i keep active im always doing little things. I dislike going to gyms bc i feel weak when i see people benching more then i weigh lol. Ide rather start at my house. Doing simple things such as abs crunchies pushups i have a bench incline decline reg. also has curls for arms and legs. Im wondering if this is enough to start me off.

I would like to kno some tips, and the best way to work out on what i have like bench to abs. How many sets? How much a set?

And im thinking about purchasing creakic or something similiar to that. During my last workout period i jumped on no explode and cell mass. Used about half a dose of each and then couldent do it anymore. People that im around almost everyday saw a difference, and i kinda felt a difference. But for creakic etc how long should i work out a day? best way to set my schedule? Any other suggestions on what to take if to take anything?

Thanks alot

1. Drop the supps except maybe some whey protein and a multivitamin. All you need to grow right now for you is food and lots of it. Supps will get you NOWHERE unless you have everything else in check. Save yourself some time and money and just either save your money or spend it on some good quality food.

2. I wont write out a routine for you because there is so much information on this forum and you should find plenty of routines designed for the beginner. I personally recommend Max-OT training for a beginner (google it). This will set you in the right direction and the site explains lots of exercises and their proper form, as well as a detailed routine for you to follow for about 12 weeks.....a good way to learn the basics.

3. Toughen up and join a gym man. There are so many exercises you need to do that will help you get big and strong that you just dont have at home. Based on what you are telling me and what you can do at home, I'd be extremely surprised to see you get anywhere off of that. Squats, Deadlifts, and Bench press are what your routine should be centered around. Join a gym!

4. I was intimidated too when I first started to lift, but if you want it bad enough, youll figure out how to get where you need to by using whatever resources of information you can find. Eat more than you are used to (yes that means eating sometimes when you arent even hungry) , and lift heavy ass weights, and be sure to get at least 8 hours of sleep per night. Eat good wholesome foods and avoid junkfood.

give me more specifics and i'll help you further, your post was pretty generic, but I can tell there is a lot you need to learn. I by no means am huge or would even compare to some of the beasts on here, but in my first year of serious weightlifting and dieting put on 30 lbs, can bench well over my weight now, and look a helluva lot better. Good luck

Theres nothing wrong with training at home. That goes for a professional or someone just starting. Besides the equipment, the only good thing about a gym is you should be able to find a spotter and you can view other peoples forms (which hopefully are correct) lol.

On the otherhand, you can use youtube or search here, alot of people post videos and you can view the form of whatever exercise.

About the days of the week question, do you have a routine in mind? Max-ot base form is a 5-day workout. I too would recommend Max-ot, it's a great routine.

in my house i just have simple stuff right now. Its up to my dad if he wants to by another machine or im going to have to join a gym. From what i have in my house (stated above) do you believe thats enough for me to gain some definitiion. Is it enough to take supplements.

If so can someone suggest a work out routine for me that i can do at home. And if you guys suggest any supplement.
Im going to take max-ot.. but not sure that would work with just i have..??

Maybe I am not seeing it here, but you failed to mention the equipment you have?

You just said its up to your dad if he wants to buy another machine, what type of machine do you already have?

You can do max-ot, i think there are a few exercise where you need a leg press and a cable machine to do pulldowns with - just substitute those exercises for something else in which your able to do.

You can tweak Max-ot and still use its principles to gain. My Max-ot like routine isn't 100% as whats posted cause i don't have a press, something to cable pushdown or pulls (I forget which one they require.)

I think you should go along with Max-ot and follow that. A cable machine if your going to get one I believe you'll be able to then follow max-ot (exercises to equipment wise) 100%. Check it out!

Google Max-ot or theres a .pdf of it in one of the Sticky's in the Workout n training section.

dark - overtraining is possible yet hard to reach. You can set up routines to work a muscle group x2 a week. THeres a bunch of those routines in the Sticky in the section I described above.

Coco Butter will help with stretch marks.
