Default temporary overreaching?

hey guys just wondering what you think about purposefully overreaching for a 3 week period?

I was thinking...

monday-friday - weights in the morning and kickboxing classes in the evening
saturday-sunday - long bike rides

all with a 40/30/30 protein/carbs/fat incredibly clean diet

I just want to really shock my body and make some drastic fat losses...I normally work well with overreaching so I thought this might be a nice shock for 3 weeks...

I dont see a problem with overreaching for 3 weeks and then a week off, just lay off the pizza and clen and it should workout well, welcome back bud.

I figure I'm immune to that **** now....guess I'll have to switch up to DNP (kidding...)

Yeah ive lost a great deal of strength coming down from 335lb to 190lb, but considering im not following a powerlifting or bodybuilding routine anymore do i really care? I no longer max out on any lifts so i Couldnt care less. Workout 5 days a week with my exercises based around the idea of fitness, if my muscles grow from that its a secondary thing.

fair play to you... to be honest I can't see you dropping below 190 with all that muscle memory...you'd probs maintain that without working out!

You look pretty thin dude. Are you sure you want to tap into muscle like that? IMO, the greatest way to lose fat is to gain muscle, period.

ahh that's an old pic...to be honest my ultimate goal is to look a bit like Christian Bale in American Psycho - I reckon I need to be about 170lb ripped for that and I'd rather get ripped then gain muscle slowly but surely...

but yeah I definitely do want to gain muscle too...I just don't like having all this fat atm

Gain muscle, this will help you lose fat. Trust me. And unless you're 5'4" there is no such thing as 170 ripped. That's called "Skinny". At 170, there's nothing to rip, bro.

The best natural IMO... Weighs 165lbs and doesn't look under 225lbs...

somewhere between 5'6 and 5'7 depending on whether I add an inch for ego

to be honest, my goal is Patrick Bateman I reckon I just need about a 42" chest with 28" waist, 15.5/16" arms

not a million miles away (except the waist )

Those are show pics - stand them next to someone over 225 and they don't look so big at all. I mean, I'm not taking **** away from those guys - they've obviously done the work, but I'd personally rather be imposing. Plus, the people on this board aren't going to walking around at 3% bf looking that good. Put them at a show prep bf - say 10% and they're holding quite a bit more than the listed weights.

I understand; not everyone will look good at under 170lbs.. But I'm just saying that one can be ripped at under 170lbs.

Yea, because he said 170lb ripped (<7% BF) so I gave a pic of a ripped 170lb. If he said fit (10-12% bf) then that would be different.
