so anyways i didnt really used to do abs before but im started to, so on mondays i do this machine
http://www.pro-fitness.com/photos/ab_crunch_bench.jpg as many times as i can (usually around 15 times) x 4 sets with a 35LB plate i hold on my chest, i go all the way down and as far up as i can(plate touching my legs), (i know, killer on the back, not doing them properly, blah blah dun care) then followed by 4 sets of captains chairs leg raises thingers (10x4 sets) anyways my abs hurt for like, at least 3 days after i do this, and i was wondering if theyre hurting that it must be doing something good?, or if u figure im not doing enough??... im like, fat, so my abs dont show but im currently losing the fat and i want to have nice abs so u think i should do more, or u figure this is good? it seems to be hurting fairly decently and not in a bad way. |

I believe the hurting is a good thing. I have been currently doing ab workouts like crazy just the fact that I need some deffinition in my stomach, and my stomach has some burning sensations when I repeat the process, but this burning sensation is good, it makes me more focused into wanting abs. I think your workout is working just fine, keep it up and hopefully you and I shall get some great results.

8 sets is way too much for abs..stick to 3-4 sets ONCE a week....MAX twice...once works tho, and do maybe 2 on the full ab motion, and 2 on the leg raises, or alternate weeks
HURT IS BAD...thats from doing too many sets and completely draining glycogen pools and extending your recovery period

mondays i do bench press flys incline press cable crossoversand my ab routine thing i told u about.
tuesdays i do alternating bicep curls , preacher, and forarms workout, wednesdays i take off, thursdays i do dumbbell presses, incline bar raises? lol and military press fridays i do skull crushers, dips, close grip bench press, and the ab workout 15 minutes of cardio everyday |

i KNEW someone was going to be like "hey man u should do legs" or soemthing similar to that... wednesdays were my leg days but i cut them out because 1: wasnt seeing any results and 2: dont care what legs look like
and to answer your question no, my legs arent big at all, the only thing i do for them is running everyday, and the occasional squat if i hit up the gym on wednesday |
