centrum has a good multivitamin. You dont need no-xplode at 16. All you need right now is to really focus on your diet.

If you are training, eat high quality foods but you still need a good multi-vitamin.

I dont suggest any of the 1-a-day formulas you see on the shelves or on tv. I never understood how you could get all the right amounts of vitamins in 1 pill, plus the dosages are low. Get a multi-vitamin that comes in several capsules or tablets.

I personally am using vitamins from ISS Research. High quality, low price.

Word to that. There's no way to know your multi is good unless you have the lab work to back it up. No one really knows how much they're even absorbing so I don't know how anyone can honestly say their multi is good...

I'm a perfect example of this. LOL - I have pissed more money away on multis that most people would think were top of the line that didn't absorb for sh!t in anyone that has taken them.

Sad thing is, there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Refund? Yeah right. You just do not know if it is absorbing... Hey, they're just putting all of the **** into one pill, to hell with it absorbing or not.

You'd be better off with a Flintstone's vitamin than most of the stuff that people are taking now. At least you wouldn't be out a lot of cash.

I think it's hilarious when a multi has like 5000% of anything in it. What the hell does 5000% mean: you're getting 50 days worth in one day?

How do you know your multi gets the job done Boyd? You say you have a scanner?

BioPhotonic scanner from a company called Pharmanex. They have a little networking scheme er scam or whatever you want to call it, but that has nothing to do with why I bought it.

I checked my on levels at a meet and greet thing and they were ridiculously low. So low, that I didn't believe it and had the levels checked via labwork the next day and they were dead on with what the scanner said...

So I flipped $5500 out and bought one for my studios - I want my clients to know if what they're eating and taking is absorbing. I have a link that explains the technology and such, but I don't think I can post it here. Nonetheless, I researched the piece of equipment and it does what they say it does and the labwork matches the scanner's diagnosis every single time. I can't be plucking people with needles, but I can have them hold their hand over a light...

PM me and I'll send you the link with some literature about it.

So what should we do if we want the extra vitamins?

thats a nice addition to your studio boyd. if only it was more practical for others to have access to one, i'm sure we'd b using it more often and choose some decent products.

i take a multi by the australia company BlackMores. i had some blood work done early feb and everything was perfect. didnt pick up anything wrong at all. i cant remember what i got done, but i have it in my journal's at WoM and FF.

Hey Boyd, not to hijack the thread but just curious as if that scanner can measure the amounts of absorption of other supplements like creatine, test boosters, etc. ?

Nope, just vitamins and minerals. It doesn't check for hormone levels. Absorption of creatine would be tricky (in my estimation). I would think creatinine would have to be measured. Test boosters could be detected with a few blood tests (show what the test levels were previously). To get a good idea, I'd probably say have several blood tests done.

Thats cool. I didnt think it could. Its still a neat piece of equipment to be able to tell vitamin absorption.
