Haha, I'm 22 and my parents too think protein is bad. I have some bottles at home so when I come home on the weekend i can use it. They don't throw it out, but they lecture about how long term usage of protein powder will get me sick, or insensitive to digesting real food. =P . At first, I'd explain to them, but I believe after 45, they stopped learning new ideas. So I stop tryna explain myself.

maybe I should tone down my workout to compensate for the sudden lack of protein untill I get an alternate source.

tell your parents to buy more steaks. Kill all the food you have at home. Eventually they'll see that ur protein is cheaper than buying real food.

problem is everyones on this low g.i. diet (I think the g.i. bit stands for food), so pretty much all we have in the house is new potatoes...

Yep

I went from 160 lbs to 228 lbs in a years time and I NEVER ONCE took any whey protein.
Not a single shake...not even a multi-vitamin.

I did eat alot of meat though and it goes to show you that good eating will render most supps useless

I was talking about waiting for after the next weekly shopping trip to add more weight. And I said I felt like giving up because I was mad, not because I wanted to stop weight lifting.

I'm angry today, I woke up and I was just in a fighting mood, so I'll probably feel bad about it tomorrow, but **** you.





On an unrelated note, I haven't had any feeling in my right hand for several hours, which is..... unusual to say the least.
