Default Help PLEASE!

Im looking for someone who might be able to lead me in the direction I want to go. I know A LOT about muscles/training/diet, however I'm only human and could use some help.

Just to give you a starting point, I'm a true, pure blood bodybuilder/weight lifter. While everyone else at school is drinking gatorade and pop, im the crazy one drinking my protein suppo. I train VERY VERY hard and have the determination to do whatever you guys throw at me. I've been lifting off and on for about 3-4 years. However for the last 1 1/2 years, I've been lifting EVERYDAY. Except for when I'm injured or sick. I love working out. I love being at the gym! But like many others, I suffer from overtraining due to my passion and perservance. When I first started back up I would do chest prolly 3 maybe 4 times a week. Chest being the muscles that I wanted to work the most. I however gather myself and have been doing routeins such as. Chest-monday/back/shoulders/abs/arms/legs/rest. Being the 7 days of the week. For how strong I know I am and how much i workout I know that I look ****ty compared to if i didnt overtrain.

Info-
5'11
160-165 for some reason my weight varies daily. I weight myself EVERYDAY and it can go up or down 5 pounds in a day.
Max Bench-225 (*SIGH* yes i know its horrible but I rep 155/8 175/8 185/6 195/4) for some reason my max is low from what it should be
Max Squat-Around the same(I havent really focused on legs and am starting to so i know why thats soo low)
Max powerclean-A bit over 185 (rep 135/8 135/8 145/8 155/6)
I could go thru a lot more but I kno that my workouts are fine thats not the problem.

At the moment im thinking of starting a die of almost pure protein. about 2k calories a day but from almost pure protein. Well over 300grams per day.
Ive seen all these 40/40/20 and stuff but I really looking to cut right now. That is if you dont know(maintain possibly even put on more muscle, but lose fat) And yes again im human and I want to lose about 10 pounds of fat FAST. This is where I need help. What type of diet should I use? Im willing to do cardio/lift NE THING. I use to run 5-6 miles a day. Aver an hour each day of just running. I would also lift for an hour to 2 hours on those days too! Like I said, please dont stop becuz you dont think i wont be able to do 2hours of lifting while running/biking or what EVER it takes.

Any opinions will be appreciated! Thanks

If, as you state in your post, you live, breath, and eat Bodybuilding, then you should know that your schedule has you in a severe Overtraining hole! STOP! Take a break. You grow when you sleep! You grow when you give your body the chance to repair itself. If you want to lose weight, try doing HIIT training. Do only HIIT for about 2 weeks. NO LIFTING! Drop your calories to about 1500-1800 a day and maybe you will reach your goal. I say maybe because your over training factors hugely on how you will progress. Deal with the Over Training issue first. Then start your cut.

I undertand my overtraining issue, but like i said its HARD for me to stay out of the gym lol... I kno it sounds weird but I like pushing weights around.

HIIT? Sorry, dont know what HIIT training is? Care to enlighten me?

And I didnt mean to sound cocky or to say that im a pro bodybuilder. I meant to state the fact that I love to workout and I will do almost anything. Like being up at 430 in the morning educating myself all night on different diets.

Care to help me on my diet? Maybe a carb gram per pound or somthing. I know that pure protein intake is going to take a tole on how much energy I have. And if I just take in protein will my body think im starving myself? I plan to take my protein on pure shakes. To minimize fat intake.

Sorry that you got the wrong interpetation of what I meant by I live bodybuilding.

Thanks, looking forward to your advice

Just one variation of HIIT.
Not dogging you on your post but seriously. You CAN NOT succeed when you overtrain. Your body is shutting down to protect itself. You have to rest it!

About your diet, keep it simple. a 40/40/20 (protein/complex carbs/fats&sugars) will do you just fine. Too much protein and you can actually starve! You can become sick! Your body can only process around 50 grams of protein at one sitting. The rest is a costly waste! I suspect that if you ease up on training (if you have a disorder like OCD then seek help), get your body ready to hit the weights in an intelligent manner, you will reach your goal. Attempting to lose weight now, being over trained, will only add to your troubles. And no, I don't mind helping!

I dont have any mental conditions like OCD but I love to spend my hour to 2 hours in the gym. Know a lot of people at the gym, know my workouts, pretty much the ONLY place in my life where I control everything.

Im actually starting a new workout routein, because my old one consisted of doing the excercise on the day I felt like I could. There was a chest, back, shoulders n traps, leg, ab, arms day. And I would go about like say I felt like doing back, I'd do back and then Id go thru atleast 3-4 other days before I did it again. However I didn't take into concern that shoulders, back, tris are all secondarys of chest. So I WAS deffinitly overtraining my tri's. Id just get done doing 2days where tri's are secondary then throw in a arms day and KILL my tri's.

Ill post some screenshots of the plan I made out for my new workout routein. Its:
Monday - Chest n Tris
Tuesday - Abs
Wednesday - Back n bis
Thursday - Legs
Friday - Shoulder n Traps
Saturday - Originally Abs again but I think i might put a rest day
Sunday - Rest day

Now the excercises are named so that my brother could also follow them so keep in mind I tried make them as detailed for him as I could while still keeping their names. And by no means am I going to do all of them on 1 day. They are just the most common that I do on those days. If you have ANY question on what the workout is, just ask.

Oh forgot to mention. That most of my workout ESPECIALLY for chest are a 4 set 8/8/6/4 workout. Some days I do dumbells, then next rotation dumbells or high rep low weight which is a 4 set 20/18/16/14 and then the next roation maybe a barbell 4 set 8/8/6/4. I know that it is a little primative but it keep my muscles from slumping into a workout and keeps me focused and not bored.

By the way I was wondering if more of like a 60/30/10 would work. Protein is not hard for me to get but my parents buy a ****load of simple carbs so good carbs are hard for me to get.
