Your muscles will respond to stress and yes, your diet does not have to be perfect! But, if you truly wish to succeed in Bodybuilding, and not just lifting weights or doing push ups, then DIET is 80% of the battle. If you want lean muscle mass and low bodyfat to show off you that mass, then you had better learn about diet and nutrition and what your body demands. Bodybuilding is a lifestyle. Not something you can just jump in and out of and expect that you will get the maximum benefits.

K then thanx. It's just really hard for me to eat properly being a full time student and worst of all I work at Maccas and I get my meals half price, but u see we don't get things like salads and the deli choice rolls for half price and if I bought them all the time I would go through a heap of cash. I would take stuff, but we only get a break after 3 hours and we can't put stuff that isn't McDonlads in the fridges so whatever I take would have to sit in my bag for at least 3 hours all warm. So I'm hoping by eating what I eat which isn't that terrible, lifting hard and doing cardio 3 times a week I can put a bit more muscle.
