Jhakk has a spectacular aura about
Default Strength gains

I weigh 128, 5"7 1/2. I need to bulk up and my max is 160. How can I gain more mass and how long will it take me to get stronger? My goals is to bench up to 220max and deadlift 260max and weigh 160. BTW I can deadlift max 180

Mainly just keep lifting and EAT! I mean really stuff yourself and it will help you gain, try doing the 6 meal a day thing.

Lift heavy. Try to get in between 6 and 10 reps is good IMO. Go very heavy on bench, squat and deadlift (make sure you get the form down for both squat and deadlift or you could really mess yourself up.)

And ofcourse, eat, and try to get in as much protein as you can.

Just aslong as you feel very comfortable when doing your deadlifts its ok. Make sure your back is always straight.

If you're lifting heavy weights without proper form you're body does not handle it very well...

As for carbs, protein and fat... just check the nutritional info on the packet of whatever you're eating. Aim for 1 gm. per lb of body weight for protein. Carbs 2-3 grams per lb of bodyweight, and try to keep your fat clean (as in not saturated or trans), and try to keep it more or less low.

You shouldn't have told him...When my uncle was young he was really short and skinny, so he trained really hard because he thought it would make him taller. Hes still 5"5, but he's a f*cking tank.

Start w/ low weight and train your lower back and you won't need a weight belt..........all a belt does if help you lift weight you shouldn't be lifting anyway. If your back can't support it, you shouldn't be lifting it in the first place.
