Default Ab Routine

What is your opinion on doing abs on off days, or doing them before / after work out. And Opinions on weighted ab routines when bulking and both free weight.

I do abs on my Monday workout and then I do them after my cardio on Thursday. It seems to work for me, so I'd say abs is fine on off days and on workout days. But i wouldn't recommend more then 2 times a week. Also weighted ab exercises are good, but you also need free. Best weighted ones i think are cable crunches and decline situps with a weight on your chest. Free are hanging leg raises and just regular old crunches.
