Hi, im new to this website and i decided to join as ive been working out for a bout a year and ive gotten lots of advice from reading threads here. I just started using supplements. Im stacking on 100 protein whey, shotgun, and cell mass. Ill be writting about how its working for me. However i had question, is it true that shotgun and cell mas can stunt your growth. Im pretty short right now for my age (18 years old, 5'5) and i still wanna grow 6 to 7 inches more so i can wait for the supplements. plz help. thx

Ive never heard of those supplements stunting growth. Thats news to me.

sorry to say it dude (I'm short too and I didn't like hearing it) but you're not gonna grow much from 18

everybody grows at different rates so he absolutely has a chance to grow at 18.

ah, does that mean I have a chance too? Just wondering 'cos I'm short too and I've always been told I've reached my full height...

In answer to the question none of those have been known to stunt growth

very very very unlikley you will grow 6-7 inches....then again boys don't stop growing till 21 ^^

i agree...how tall are ur parents? and i did sum looking around cuz ive been stuck at home all day and i couldnt find anything saying or even suggesting those supps will stunt ur growth. whod u here that from anyways?

Unlikely but not out of the question. I have a friend that went to college 5'11 and came back the next year 6'6. It happens.

Default Cheating on Height

I didnt mean naturally grow 6-7 inches... that sounds almost impossible (although miracles do happen). I have an appoitment with a doctor next week to see if i can get hgh shots or maybe he can give me other methods of growing taller. And about supplements stunning growth, a friends told me not to use them but i guess he didnt know what he was talking about.

ive never heard of anything that could make u taller other than like stilts lol. hmm guess we learn sumthin new everyday. but yeah i dont think ur friends new wut they were talkin about cuz ive never heard of that and i cant find anything that even mentions it

Boys don't stop growing till they're 25 and so a growth spurt of several inches can happen at 24 too.
It's very unlikely only is he has already expressed most his height potential by eating well and being physical activity, but if he hasn't a chance to express his whole height potential because of bad diet and sedentary lifestyle he has still 7 years to make up for the losses

Kuy I would start swimming three times a week, if you have still growth potential to show up that's the best way to awaken it

that sounds good, I ate **** and avoided exercise until about 2 years ago, reckon I will have grown to my potential in those 2 years or is there a chance of more growth?

Try swimming
Growth occurs only while the gravity is not pushing you down, so your bones can only grow while you're lying. This means that the body just grows at night usually

Swimming thought mimics this condition, it elongates the bones while you're not subject to gravity force. Growth happens because of stimulus, trying to reach an high object everyday is for example a stimulus of growth so is riding your bike with a raised seat.

Muscles growth because a stimulus injures them and they're repaired with harder fiber to make sure the same stimulus won't be as damaging the next time. It's basic survival
Bones grow thanks to the same mechanism

Dr. Julius Wollf showed bones grow through a mechanism of injurying stimulus and in other words that your height is not programmed but depends on the presence or lack of those stimulus (if you have always lived in a 3 feet grotto you wouldn't have grown more than 3 feet)

This allowed him to prove that bones can be remodelled taking advantage of those stimulus

Swim 40 minutes three times a week and sleep 10 hours per night, consume adequate protein and take a calcium supplement and provided you haven't expressed your growth potential you can still grow
