you know, i've never had sore biceps. i really don't work them out too hard. going for the burning sensation isn't what you want to go after all the time.

The preacher curls are making your forearms sore. Your bicep doesn't get sore because it is a very resilient muscle, still you should only hit your biceps hard once a week because you use them for alot of the other exercises like presses.
Try this bicep workout once every two weeks: 4 sets Standing Barbell Curls 3 sets Seated Hammer Curls 2 sets Down the rack Curls (Pick up a Dumbell you can do 12 reps with and do 10 reps. than lower the weight 5 to 10 lbs and do 10 more, than lower and do 10 more, than lower and do 10 more)

Another thing I saw was a lot of preacher curls so he is probably using the ez curl bar. Lose that for awhile. Use an olympic straight bar for awhile and your dumbbells. You will get a better contraction.
A good tip when doing standing barbell curls is after you curl it up, lower it slowly while keeping the bar close to your body. Keeps more stress on the biceps that way too.
