Try replacing the Lever Preachers with an Isolation curl of some sort. Alternating DB curls, Hammer Curls, Isolation Curls. Or, hit the bicept in a different way, accentuating the Brachioradialis, by doing reverse-curls. Also, when doing your other curls, flex and hold your biceps at the peak of conctraction. Another alternative is when doing your normal curls, lower the weight slowly.

you know, i've never had sore biceps. i really don't work them out too hard. going for the burning sensation isn't what you want to go after all the time.

The preacher curls are making your forearms sore. Your bicep doesn't get sore because it is a very resilient muscle, still you should only hit your biceps hard once a week because you use them for alot of the other exercises like presses.

Try this bicep workout once every two weeks:
4 sets Standing Barbell Curls
3 sets Seated Hammer Curls
2 sets Down the rack Curls
(Pick up a Dumbell you can do 12 reps with and do 10 reps. than lower the weight 5 to 10 lbs and do 10 more, than lower and do 10 more, than lower and do 10 more)

Throw some standing barbell curls in there. Also try some cable curls on a low pulley system. Now those keep constant tension on the bicep.

mine were sore for the 1st time ever last monday...they actually seem to have shrunk since then though, they're no longer at their massive 12" peak, more like a still huge but not quite as good 11.5" :'(

Another thing I saw was a lot of preacher curls so he is probably using the ez curl bar. Lose that for awhile. Use an olympic straight bar for awhile and your dumbbells. You will get a better contraction.

A good tip when doing standing barbell curls is after you curl it up, lower it slowly while keeping the bar close to your body. Keeps more stress on the biceps that way too.
